  • The mission of the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners is to protect the health, safety and well being of Montana citizens through the licensing of competent health professionals and by the regulation of the related practices to promote the delivery of quality health care.

  • To be eligible for a Montana compact privilege you MUST be licensed in another state first. You may not purchase a compact privilege in Montana without an ACTIVE HOME STATE License. The compact privilege is simple - if you hold a valid active PT/PTA license in another state and desire to work in Montana under your home state license, you may be eligible for compact privileges in Montana. The compact privilege is purchased through the PT Compact website.
